Happy Valley, OR — State Representative Janelle Bynum, Democratic candidate for Oregon’s 5th Congressional District continues to out-fundraise and out-organize her opponent, Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer.
On the heels of their record-breaking Q3 fundraising haul, the Bynum for Congress campaign continues to tout impressive campaigning and fundraising numbers:
Participated and won 3 debates
Knocked over 146,000 doors
Made over 397,500 phone calls
Over 3,800 volunteer shifts
More than 100,069 individual contributions
As each campaign discloses its fundraising totals every 48 hours, the Bynum for Congress campaign continues to handily out-fundraise Chavez-DeRemer.
With less than three weeks until election day, Bynum’s campaign continues to gain momentum. Two recent polls show Bynum leading Chavez-DeRemer by two points. The latest poll found Bynum leading with women voters and households with a union member. Recently, National Journal listed Oregon’s 5th Congressional District in the top 10 congressional races most likely to flip in 2024, jumping up 8 spots after State Rep. Janelle Bynum’s strong primary win “instantly making this seat a top offensive opportunity for the party.”
