Happy Valley, OR — Once again, in a debate against State Representative Janelle Bynum, Democratic candidate for Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer lies to voters about her anti-abortion record in Congress. She claims she does not support a national abortion ban, but has voted to restrict access to reproductive healthcare in Congress.
Lori Chavez-DeRemer denies supporting the heartbeat bill but, in Congress, she supported a national ban on abortion that would override Oregon’s own laws and criminalize doctors.
