Happy Valley, OR — In a final debate against State Representative Janelle Bynum, Democratic candidate for Oregon’s 5th Congressional District, we learned that Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer has accepted the outcome of the 2020 election.
Chavez-DeRemer has:
- Struggled to give a clear answer as to whether she thinks the 2020 election was legitimate.
- Questioned the voting by mail process.
- Defended the mob at the Capitol and supported convicted felon Donald Trump.
Bynum is one generation away from segregation and understands what is at stake. In Congress, she will support efforts to shore up and protect our voting rights and invest in our election infrastructure.
