AG Rosenblum: I am confident that she will continue to be a strong advocate for Oregon families in Congress, and I am honored to endorse her campaign.

Happy Valley, Oregon - Today, Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum – the first woman to serve as Oregon Attorney General – announced  her endorsement of Janelle Bynum in the race for Oregon's 5th Congressional district.

As Attorney General, I have worked closely with Janelle Bynum and I admire her exceptional leadership and dedication to serving her constituents in the Oregon House," said Rosenblum. " Her commitment to safer communities, economic development, and public education reflects her deep understanding of the issues facing our communities. I am confident that she will continue to be a strong advocate for Oregon families in Congress, and I am honored to endorse her campaign.”

"I am honored to receive the endorsement of Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum," said Bynum. " Her leadership and dedication to justice and equality have been an inspiration to me and I am committed to carrying forward her legacy of fighting for Oregonians and ensuring that every voice is heard in Congress. Together, we will work tirelessly to address the challenges facing our communities and build a brighter future for all."

Janelle Bynum is running to unseat freshman Republican Congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer in Oregon’s 5th congressional district and has been endorsed by Governor Tina Kotek, Treasurer Tobias Read, Congresswoman Andrea Salinas, EMILYs List, and over 50% of Oregon’s legislative body. She has defeated the incumbent Republican twice in previous electoral matchups.
